Guns and Hoses was created in 2002 as a vehicle to facilitate fund
raising for local charities and the families of firefighters, military
heroes and police officers suffering from life threating illnesses.
By hosting sporting events in which local firefighters, military
personnel and police officers battle each other, Guns and Hoses is
able to raise money through ticket sales and sponsorship from local
businesses. In the past, the money raised has gone to families of the
police officers and firefighters who have been killed in the line of duty,
or have been stricken with other hardships such as cancer, or
debilitating injuries. Money raised has also gone to local children's
Guns and Hoses has affiliations with all of the major sport teams in the
valley. With 7 events per year, we have something for everyone.
