| Guns and Hoses was created in 2002 as a vehicle to facilitate fund raising for local charities and the families of firefighters and police officers killed in the line of duty or with other hardships. By hosting sporting events in which local firefighters and police officers battle each other, Guns and Hoses is able to raise money through ticket sales, sponsorship from local businesses, and raffles. In the past, the money raised has gone to families of the police officers and firefighters who have been killed in the line of duty, or have been stricken with other hardships such as cancer, or debilitating injuries. Guns and Hoses has affiliations with all of the major sport teams in the valley. With 7 events per year, we have something for everyone. |
